Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model and television host entrepreneur recording artist has received numerous awards in her time. It includes two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award as well as two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. She was also nominated twice for Gawad Urian Awards. In the film of 2014, Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel she played Dyesebel which is the Komiks iconic character. She was also the host of It's Showtime, the noontime variety show (2009-2020). Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina born in Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, who was an Australian lawyer. Born in Yarrawonga within Victoria, Australia. Her father got married Ojales at the age of 22 in 1982. Her younger sister, who is also an actor and her father is also an actor. Clare is one of their cousins at the father's end. Clare passed away at 4 months in 2007 from an illness of the heart.
