Molly she was born in Pennsylvania, began performing professionally in Philadelphia at Prince Music Theater at 13 years old. Her first performance was The Snow Queen. After that, she portrayed Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated for the Barrymore Award. The role was reprised in the production when she made her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway, in 2002. The show won her an award from the Drama League Award for this performance.
